Audra Goodman-5th
Greetings 5th grade seniors and parents!! We are quickly approaching the halfway point. RN Harris' proficiency goal for all subjects is 85%. To meet this goal we need your help in ensuring students come to class prepared. This includes having all materials such as: pencils, notebooks, textbooks/workbooks, high lighters, and paper. We are going into 3rd nine weeks and supplies need to be replenished. In order to prepare our "seniors" for middle school it is important that they bring their agenda book home and back to school each day. The agenda books are an excellent way to communicate with your child's teacher. It is also a great way to keep up with homework assignments, field trips, early release, DPS tests, and Eagle Bucks. Please note that your child should always be a Soaring Eagle. If their bucks are below $17.00 please speak with them concerning Soaring Eagle behavior. It is very important that students are reading 30 minutes nightly and getting their reading logs signed . In addition to homework it is important that students review a subject and strategy each night. This will provide them with much needed review for the End Of Grade Test in science, math, and reading.
