Welcome, Welcome, Welcome!
Welcome to the RN Harris Dance Program. I am Toya J. Chinfloo and provide dance curriculum for RN Harris’ Dance program. My experience as a dance educator, choreographer and performing artist began at Montclair State University where I received my BFA degree in Dance. From there I journeyed to North Carolina as a scholarship student at the American Dance Festival and began my professional performing career with the renowned Chuck Davis’ African American Dance Ensemble. I have been honored with opportunities to study and perform with dance legends like the late Pearl Primus, Katherine Dunham, and Woodie McGriff. Locally I have worked with La Vasquez Afro-Caribbean Dance Company, Two Near the Edge and Ballethnic’s Leopard Tale. I look forward to sharing my experiences and passion for learning with my students each year. My greatest joy is assisting them in discovering the genius within their own skin.

Mission
Our mission is to explore the horizons of dance from grades K-5. Our program provides weekly instruction in the dance technique, elements / concepts, and history /choreography. To prepare our graduates to become confident life learners ready and equipped to participate in middle school dance programs.
